How to get it in New Zealand
- 1Check for a local site
If Apple has a site for your country, that's usually simplest.
- 2Use a buy-it-for-me service
A service places the order in the US and sends it on to you. See how it works below.
Good to know for Kiwi shoppers
GST of 15% applies to imports. On items up to NZ$1,000 the overseas seller may charge it at checkout; Customs doesn't collect duty or GST at the border below that.
Several orders from the same supplier arriving on the same day can be treated as one shipment and go over NZ$1,000.
Low-value air imports carry a NZ$2.54 levy (incl. GST) per declaration, usually passed on by the courier.
US shops charge in US dollars. Your bank converts to NZD and may add a foreign transaction fee.
In the shop's own words
“[Apple Community reply] You can NOT order products from the US Store and have them shipped to a freight forwarder or to an address outside of the US.”Quoted from the shop's official page.
Still want it?
This shop cancels orders sent to US address services, so sending it to one yourself may not work.
Fishisfast FastBuy (a buy-it-for-me service): you send the product link, and the Fishisfast team places the order with a US payment method, then adds it to your locker to ship abroad. Per Fishisfast's published terms the fee is US$5 + 7% of the order (max US$2,500 per order), and some shops that don't accept orders to the Fishisfast address carry an extra US$2. Fishisfast says some shops are incompatible and requests can be declined, so check before you count on it. How FastBuy works
Fishisfast's own shop list tags Apple with a FastBuy badge (source). That's Fishisfast's listing, not a guarantee for every item.
Some links on this site are affiliate or partner links, and we may earn a commission. This never changes our shop information. We have a business relationship with Fishisfast.

Questions people ask
Does Apple ship to New Zealand?
According to the source, Apple doesn't ship abroad directly.
Can I use a US address service with Apple?
Apple cancels those orders. Use a buy-it-for-me service or a local site instead.
Does Apple take overseas cards?
We haven't confirmed this yet.
How do I get Apple orders in New Zealand?
Apple's US site doesn't send its orders abroad. A local Apple site, if there is one, or a buy-it-for-me service is the easiest way.
Why might Apple cancel my order, and what can I do?
Stores can cancel an order when the card or billing address fails their checks, when an item can't go to that address, or when their rules exclude package-forwarding addresses. Read the cancellation email for the reason, contact the store with your order number, and if forwarding addresses aren't accepted, use a buy-it-for-me service instead of ordering to the same address again.
When should I use a buy-it-for-me service for Apple?
Use one when Apple won't ship to your country and won't take a US address service, or when it declines your card. The service orders with a US payment method and ships the item on to you for a fee; some items can be declined, so check first.
