Customs, VAT and delivery to the UK

Prices in dollars

American shops charge in US dollars. Your card provider converts to sterling and may add a non-sterling fee.

Import VAT

Up to £135, 20% VAT is normally charged at checkout. Above £135, VAT and any duty are collected on import, often with a courier handling fee.

Delivery times

Via a US address service, allow about 1 to 2 weeks once the parcel reaches the American warehouse.

Returns

Posting items back to the US is rarely cheap. Check sizes and the shop's returns policy first.

In the shop's own words

“We cannot ship single international orders to multiple addresses at this time; you may ship to multiple addresses by placing a separate order for each shipping address.”
