Does Amazon ship to the UK?
Short answer
Yes, Amazon can reach the UK: ships to many countries. Check that the UK is in the country list at checkout.
What Amazon says
“If you (or your freight forwarder) purchase items from Amazon.com to be shipped to a U.S. location, you (or your freight forwarder) are now considered the exporter...”

Getting Amazon orders to the UK
- Prices in dollars: American shops charge in US dollars. Your card provider converts to sterling and may add a non-sterling fee.
- Import VAT: Up to £135, 20% VAT is normally charged at checkout. Above £135, VAT and any duty are collected on import, often with a courier handling fee.
- Delivery times: Via a US address service, allow about 1 to 2 weeks once the parcel reaches the American warehouse.
- Returns: Posting items back to the US is rarely cheap. Check sizes and the shop's returns policy first.
